It sounds like you need to replace the power supply. If you don't see or hear your cooling fan come on in your power supply. Then it needs to be replaced. I know you did a few tricks. If you will do one thing more. Disconnect everything and if possible pull any cards in yor system except you video. No power to hard drives or cd's ect.. If still no fan then bad power supply.

My tablet is frozen in reboot, and I don't know how to thaw it out . Can some-one help me.

With an iphone/itouch you press 2 buttons at the same time for about 30 seconds. Usually the menu and power button will do the trick. If that doesnt work then youll have to do the old "wait till the battery dies" trick.

The 3 most popular fixes for the Xbox 360

These are free fixes I found on the internet and tried myself I have rated them as well with my recommendation:

The Towel Trick:

  • Fast and easy
  • Opening console is not required - does not void warranty
  • Might make things worse
  • Usually works for 2 weeks only
  • Not recommended to use repeatedly
Recommendation - Do it only if you are not technical and afraid to open the console, use warranty if still permitted.

The Heat Gun Solution:
  • If done right works for long (longer than the towel trick)
  • Simple to do
  • Opening console is required - Void Warranty
  • Might make things worse
  • Not recommended to use repeatedly
  • Usually works for a fews weeks only
Recommendation - Its involved voiding warranty and hard to make it a permanent solution, use only if you don't have a warranty.

The Eraser Trick:

Best solution here at Fixya:

The Eraser Trick

  • If done correctly works permanently
  • Very simple to do
  • Requires only a simple eraser
  • Can used repeatedly
  • Opening console is required - Void Warranty
  • Usually does not used right and not works permanently
  • Requires some technical knowledge
Recommendation - Read comments on the thread to know what to expect and do it only if you don't have your warranty.

- These fixes are great, but from my experience there is no stable fix for this problem since the Red Ring of Death will come back even if fixed by an expert. Therefore those fixes are good as any but also void the 3 years warranty. If you do have your warranty I recommend on using it.

Xbox 360 red ring of death

Not a simple question.

It depends on the 360 to be honest.

Whatever you do try do not do the "towel trick"
The red ring of death is usually an overheating problem and the towel trick will cause the 360 to overheat.
Look on youtube for "the penny trick/fix"

I'd recommend you send your xbox to a repair center though. In most cases they will repair it for free.

My cpu doesnt start when switched on , it shows the 3 & 4 lights, I tried to reinstall the memory modules-I removed and installed them as per the Dell Manual but still it dint start, please advise.

This sounds like you have bad capacitors on the motherboard, this is a very common model. They can be replaced and your system brought back to life. Here is a picture of what to look for. Open your computer and look at the motherboard capacitors, if they are bulging like the picture then you need to replace them. The tops should be flat if they are bulging or domed at all then they are bad. You can desolder them and replace them for about $12 in parts. If you find them do a google search for "Dell gx620 motherboard repair" for information about replacing them. buddymc.jpg

Tryed to updated with the black berry desktop manager for the mac and it got blocked and a message says "reload sofware 507, and it doesnt go on

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

I can recommend a couple of tricks and we can see if they work.

First, try rebooting the computer and the device. Plug the device back in and see if that helps.

Uninstall the blackberry software and reinstall. It may have a corrupt file from updated (usually automatic updates).

Try plugging the USB into another port after the installation to "activate" good drivers.

Have you added any third party apps to the device? Try uninstalling it and see if this fixes. Some third party apps have bad programming and cause errors.

Please let me know if this helps and I we can troubleshoot further if not.

My cd draw doesnt oep easily

If it is under warranty I would have them replace the CD drive, if nor then I would try to update the software for the CD drive, you can get its manufacturer and part number by getting SIW from Gabriel Topalas website and looking under the appropriate heading. Once you have that info get all the updated software and see if that does the trick.

If thats not it, then replace the CD drive, I recommend purchasing a new one at, and have a local tech install it, this will be faster and cheaper than a Big Box, and they will usually show you what they are doing(I do).

If you need more help get back to me, I CAN solve this problem.

Fuzzy pictures

Yes the keyword is might. Usually the NVidia cards are compatible for any system, that is a little strange, I wouldn't fret about this problem so much, if the computer is old, it may not be worth the effort. In time you could look forward to getting a new one. If you use a computer primarily for music and videos, get a Gateway, if you use a computer for business and internet browsing, get a Dell, but if you do every thing in between, I'd definitely recommend an IBM.

Good luck!

Has power but doesnt do anything

I would probably want to try a new/different parallel interface cable. If that doesn't work, I would strongly recommend purchasing a new printer. The DeskJet 600-series models are Jurassic Park stuff.
