You should be able to access all the menu features from the front of the set. Or keep in mind, you can purchase any mitusbish remote and it will do most things, Just look for format button. I may even have one if you need one. Let me know if i helped you solve your problem. Good Luck. Jay

Picture doesn't fit screen. A 1-1/2 inch wide band on top and bottom of screen. Have tried the picture button on remote but it only gives me options ie: Panoramic, standard, wide etc. Nothing seems to

Many units will self adjust the image size, but the size of the image you will see depends on what size it was originally recorded in. You can change it in the settings of the TV but most likely it will not go bigger if it was shot smaller.

How do I adjust the picture size on my Mitsibishi tv. It is too wide and might be too tall. I cannot find aspect in the menu.

On your original TV remote look for button that says Picture size, Format or Ratio and press it till you see the normal size.

TV picture is smaller than screen, how do I make it bigger?

See if there is a "wide" button on the remote. Should scroll through the display size options
Go to menu and picture adjustments are there as well

How do I make the screen on my sanyo tv full- It has a black bar top and bottom

Your TV remote control (not the cable box remote control) would have to have a button that would allow the changing of the TV screen sizes. My Sony TV control has a button called, ' wide', and when pressed will change my screen to either, full, wide zoom, and zoom. Only zoom gets rid of the black bars on my TV. If no button, than the screen size will be determined by the broadcaster.

Screen size is to big

Hi,
On the TV remote look for a button that says Picture size, Aspect or Ratio and press on the button until you get the wide normal size.
Some cable TV remotes have the same functions, and you may need to check or call your cable TV company.

Best of luck

Previous monitor 13 1/2" wide. I want to make

Check on the monitor for an auto button or function, this should reset the screen resolution to match the pc output, what resolution are you running at? 640x480 or 800x600 would be my choice for that size screen but try some of the higher resolutions in conjuction with the auto button to see if you can get the screen size you desire.

Gateway P41M`01 Picture off the top and bottom

You should have a button for "aspect ratio" (unsure of your brand of tv), could be marked "screen size - picture format" etc. Cycle through the sizes with this button until you come to auto or wide (set to auto to adjust the pictures to what is being transmitted - wide for a full screen but will stretch the picture to fill when transmitted in 4:3 format)

I have a T5054 TV and the picture has zoomed in and is way too big, however in the picture settings menu the zoom option is not highlighted in Component mode.

There could be a problem, but verify the settings as listed in the owner's manual as follows:

1 Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Picture, then press the ENTER button.
2 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Size, then press the ENTER button.
3 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the screen format you want.
Press the ENTER button.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
16:9 : Sets the picture to 16:9 wide mode.
Zoom1 : Magnifies the size of the picture on the screen.
Zoom2 : Expands the Zoom1 format picture.
Wide Fit : Enlarges the aspect ratio of the picture to fit the entire screen.
4:3 : Sets the picture to 4:3 normal mode.
Just Scan : Use this function to see the full image without any cutoff when DTV
or HDMI 720p/1080i signals are input.
Press the P.SIZE button on the remote control to change the picture size.

And realize the restrictions as listed:

• In TV, VIDEO, S-VIDEO, and COMPONENT(480i, 480p) modes, all screen
modes can be selected. (16:9 ➞ Zoom1 ➞ Zoom2 ➞ 4:3)
• In COMPONENT(720p, 1080i) or HDMI(720p, 1080i) mode, 16:9, 4:3 and
Wide Fit can be selected.
• In Zoom1, Zoom2 and Wide Fit modes, you can move the picture on the
screen by pressing the ▲ or ▼ button.
•You can not change the picture size when PIP is set to Double.
•When Double ( , ) mode has been set in PIP, the Picture Size cannot
be set.
•Wide Fit can be used when watching a Digital HD (High Definition) signal.
Wide Fit sets the optimum picture format by expanding it both horizontally and
vertically. For example, you can reset the picture in 4:3 format to 16:9. Wide Fit
does not support all external devices (DVD, VCR etc.).

Size of the picture decreased

If this only happens with your cable or satellite box this may be an adjustment in your box. So you may need to contact them and find out how to adjust the picture size. This tv may have a wide mode setting on the tv remote. Pushing this button may select full, wide, wide zoom or normal size. On many occasions the tv stations control the picture size. Good Luck
