It work fine Sunday evening, I came home from work Monday and this is what I get. Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

You may need to replace your hard drive. But it's adviceable you ask a technician to support you since its a little technical.
Try remove the hard dirve and then fix it back. and if the system prompted you to strike F2 then go . In the bios setup. load the " setup bios default and press "F10" to save and exit. the computer will restart.
if the Backu suggestion is not working? There is no other solution on that matter because it was the only solution regarding your problem.
If you do backu answer and it don't work. it is probably sure that the your harddrive is damage. however if you not done yet and afraid on fixing inside the system then let someone do it for.
You can test your harddrive by connecting it to your friends computer. You are happy if the hard drive work in there computer and you can backup your important files, in case you harddrive working in your friend's computer, then we tackle further issue in your computer otherwise. if this not work then, its time you to provide another harddrive. I hope that your harddrive got a warranty in the store.

Make sure your HD Cables are all firmly plugged in, and that all drives are starting when you turn on the computer. You can tell with harddrives as they will slightly whine, and have a small, steady vibration to them. If they are all starting, and all cables are fully seated, check in your Setup utility that the drives themselves are Auto-Detect. If none of this fixes your issue, you may have to refer your computer to a computer repair shop.
Hope this helps!

This was extremely helpful! It worked like a charm!
After upgrading a failing hard drive in my Dimension 4700, I encountered this message, and although the BIOS looked right, there was something causeing this problem. Upon resetting to the defaults in the BIOS, all was well with the machine!
Thanks again!
On boot up it gives a black screen F1 to continue and F2 to enter set-up
