Hi!

i love eating rice.

when you want to cook rice in a rice cooker, the ratio is 1:1.

1 cup of uncooked rice is to 1 cup water.

just be sure you use the same cup.

hope you will have a delicious rice meal!

User instructions for 3 cup rice cooker 91914

All rice cookers are very easy to operate without the manual.
First just measure the amount of rice you want to cook. 1, 2 or 3 cup then wash couple time and rinse very good . Put in then fill with cold water to the mark line indicate cup. (Equal the amount of rice)
Then just press cook. After it pop up that mean it's cooked. Then open and turn the rice thoroughly, let it open for 6-10 minutes then closed it. It's ready to serve.
If the rice is too soft, that mean too much water. Use less water next time.
If the rice is too hard or not fully cook, that mean too less water. Use more water next time.
Any left over, just leave it in and on to keep warm.

Good luck and enjoy

How much water to one half cup of jasmine rice

Hello, Steve -

If you are cooking the jasmine rice the traditional way on a stove, the ratio of rice to water is:

3/4 cups of water to 1/2 cup of rice (per most instructions on packages); for softer rice, add just a little bit more water, plus it is recommended to rinse the rice and drain it prior to cooking
See:
https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/perfect-jasmine-rice.html

If you are using an electric rice cooker, the rice to water ration is:
1/2 cup of rice to 1/2 cup of water; rinse and drain the rice prior to cooking
See:
https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Jasmine-Rice-in-a-Rice-Cooker

Best wishes.

My rice cooker not cook rice properly leave some waterand un cook rice. What shuld I do steamer is working good.

Are you maybe putting too much water in. usual amount is equal parts water to rice. Except for brown where you need an extra half cup water to each cup of brown rice. Remove the steamer tray, of course when cooking rice.

How many cups of rice do you put in when your water line is at 3

hi,

Tips on cooking rice:

You estimate first how many rice you are cooking then follows how many water you will be needing to cook it.

In an average, 1 cup of rice per person (depending on the persons appetite) = 2 cups of water. Rinse first the rice about 2 - 3 times to remove unwanted stuffs then start pouring and measuring the water.

Note:

1 cup rice = 2 cups water (common ratio), but there are also type of rice that requires more water or less water. You can adjust next time the water depending on the result. If the rice is a little bit hard then add more water the next time you cook. If the result is too soft then minus the water.

Hope you can cook now a perfect rice! Bon appetite!

Need basic directions

Hi,
There is a cup that comes with it that equals about 2/3 of a regular measuring cup...one of these or 2/3 cup for every cooked cup that you want to end up with...
The water...
There are lines on most of the cookers with numbers that represent the number of cups you are cooking...fill with water to that line....
If you are not sure, just fill with water a bit over the top of the rice...the amount is not that critical as the cooker senses when the water is cooked off and then shuts down...so a bit more will only make the cooking time a bit longer... no biggee...
Also it is best to rinse your rice before you actually leave the water in the pot that you are going to cook with...
remeber also if you have a brown rice setting that the cooking times are MUCH longer...like up to 90 minutes, so get it started in plenty of time or you will be eating rice for a snack before bed...

These things are really goof proof and make great rice very easily...

Rice cooking

if that rice when cooked is too soft or too hard.. then , you might want to add more water to it. the correct ratio for cooking rice is always 1 cup rice and 1 cup water. it also depends on what type of rice your cooking though, some type of rice become too mushy when too much water is added... so always have some minimal water to the uncooked rice.

Salton RA3 3-Cup Rice Cooker Question

Put equal amounts rice and water (up to 3 cups only) in liner pot, plug in, put lid on, flip little front switch. 10-15 minutes later it will be done and the pot will switch to "warm" mode by itself. Gently fluff with paddle before serving. You can also add salt or other seasonings to the water/rice mixture before starting.

How do I cook rice in my steamer where do I put the water?

there is normally a special rice bowl, which looks like the lid upside down which is used for rice cooking and should be placed at the highest point in the upper steam bowl and place the lid on top. for 1 cup of white regular rice, use 1 1/2 cups of water, steam for 45-50 mins for 1 cup long grain rice use 1 2/3 cups of water, steam for 50-55 mins for 1/2 cup of brown regular rice, use 1 cup water and steam for 42-45mins
