AVH-P3100DVD Video Problems

I have a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD with the E-brake bypass and the CD-IU50V cord. When I plug my iPhone 3G into it and attempt to play video, it plays the audio through the iPod menu option and the video through the AV1 input, but not both at the same time. How do I fix this?

    Got IT!!!!


    Select the Source menu, press the OFF key, touch the screen and select AV MENU, and select initial, then touch AV input 1 until it says I-Pod.

Any possibility you can open up the iphone connecting part and take photo of wiring color on the board need to re solder mine

sounds like when you wired the harness up you messed up some where, make sure all the wire colors match up.. yellow to yellow red to red.

Pionner cd-iu200v plays video from Iphone, no picture on avh4100
Check the initial settings menu (you will probably have to reset the system to get it to reappear) and set the aux 1 to IPOD. This will let the ipod video play via the aux 1 just like it is supposed to. This solution is buried in the manual but is really hard to pull together.
