Question about Aiptek A-HD 720P Flash Media Camcorder

When i zoom in the picture is all fuzzy

Aiptek HD 720P 100 camcorder. When i zoom in the picture is all fuzzy. The picture quality is great without using the zoom.

Clarification: digital zoom "guesses" pixels between those really recorded. The further you zoom the more guesswork and the more likely the picture is loosing sharpness. 

Also, digital zoom needs _a lot _ more light.

Digital zoom is different from optical zoom. when using digital zoom, you have to keep the camera very, very, very still. may even have to use a tripod.

We cannot find our user manual can we get another one? The number on our camera is 720P HD. The brand is AIPTEK.

Deleting files on HD720p Aiptek camcorder
You are not doing anything wrong. For some reason, Aiptek doesn't give you this option on the camera. You have to insert you SD card into a reader and delete it that way. Ya, I know, doesn't make sense. Also, a feature I hate is it does place your videos into one continuous file. Only video clips, so each time you stop then start recording, it creates a new file. Anyway, I've had my Aiptek since 10/2008 and no problems so far. Great indoor videos. Not too crazy about the still pictures though.

Taking ditailed picture.
Try using the macro infinity switch on the camera, this will help a tiny bit, other than that the camera only has X3 zoom... not much.

Aiptek a-hd 720p flash media files won't capture on Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0.2
I believe it is the format,the easiest thing to do would be convert it but with what? I reccomend quicktime PRO it's around $20 and will not only play the vid, but convert it without loss of quality.

Burning videos to a dvd
This may be due to the fact that the Aiptek A-HD records to a quicktime format. There is a copy of quicktime in the disk that came with the camcorder. Now I don't know if this is quicktime Pro or not (I work on a mac, so quicktime is already installed, but the comps at my school are vista based) but if you don't have quicktime pro (you can check by right clicking on a video in quictime and if some of the options are unusable because they say "pro" next to them, you don't have quicktime PRO. It's $20 for quicktime pro, and it's very well worth the money. You can change format without losing quality, and so much more! Also WMM is not very HD compatible, you should put it in DVD format :) Hope this helped- (youtube user) animation508

AIPTEK PROBLEMS
Do what I do- take out the SD card and transfer files directly to the computer without the camera.
