Water Leak?

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Dishwasher keeps making suction sound though cleaning cycle is done

Hi,
You made have a leak causing the drain pump to keep running, if you never worked on this unit before I would suggest you call a professional. If you have worked on this before then look for water in drain pan to unit, the reason is water has entered drain pan and caused the float to turn on pump, could be from the drain hose, leak in a hose, or the diverter. all this part are located unit unit in access area (small panel under large door).
Good Luck, I hope this helps...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

Dishwasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose-filter assembly or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter located inside the front bottom panel for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. Take off the bottom access panel to clean the drain pump filter and hose. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

"OE" message

OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!

Have water leaking under unit, appears to be on the drain cycle. What is probable cause.

Remove the front kick panel to see if the water is draining from the front of the machine. If not, look under the machine while it is running with a flashlight following the large black rubber hose to the center of the machine.
If it is dripping there, you have a leaking water pump gasket/hose or bearing seal. Some pumps aren't always located in the center. If it is only on the drain cycle, then it is most likely a pump or drain hose. Also bear in mind that some Dishwashers connected to a garbage disposal can leak over time due to the vibrations caused by the disposal and a brittle drain hose.
