If the buttons light up when you turn them on then the fuse is good. What usually happens is the element of the heater part burns or break and the heater will not work. This is a 2 part heater. One for the back and one for the bottom. If one goes neither of them will work. You have to ohm both to see which one is bad and replace it.Usually the bottom because it takes the most abuse. If the light does not come on then check the fuses and check connections under the seat.Good luck.

I would look at the fuse first and see if it is still in tact.
Your 2001 Regal has two fuse panels. The heated seats are on Fuse #3 of the fuse panel in the engine compartment. It's located on the passenger side under the hood.

Heated seat not working 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4 Diesel

That's often a problem with the driver's seat switch or the driver's door module. See this post on how to diagnose heated seat issues.

2007 jeep compass headlights and rear lights only work in drive, turn signals dont work, flashers dont work, heated seats dont work, (heated seats and flashers on same control panel)

Guessing it's very likely a TIPM. Jeeps had mega issues with them. That is the Totally Integrated Power Module also known as the fuse box under the hood.

Heated seats dont work

Its hard to say without looking at it in person. sounds like you have a electrical short in the wiring systems or blown fuse bad switch. The heating element in the seat could also be burnt out and need replacing. best thing to do is locate the wiring system underneath the seat and test the current if any going into the seat heating element. if you do get voltage/current following, then the seat element is bad.

Power seats heated seats my both my seats stop moving and the heated seats stop working do to a fuse going bad. i dont have a owners manu; so i dont no what fuse to change

heated seats are controlled by a relay only and the power seats are hooked to a relay and a circuit breaker. The breaker is attached inside the fuse block as well with a metal top stamped 20 or 30 amp

Heated seats don't work

See GM TSB 05-08-143-001, If you have Adjustable pedals, especially if they don't work with the memeory buttons, but function with thier own buttons. Its the Brake Pedal Position Sensor is shorted and mesing up the seat module which controls the heaters too. My 05 Suburban had the same issue. Can check by unplugging switch and see if heated seats work .
