If you are taking close up photos, you might have to use the "macro" setting. The auto focus only works down to around 5 or 6 feet I think. I have an earlier model of that camera. I use mine for normal use and also close up for work related photos.

My Fujifilm Finepix XP21 takes pictures but always blurry and not focusing? Any body

Have you tried focusing before you take a photo? To do this, press down the shutter button on your camera but don't push it far enough to take a photo. This enables the camera to focus on what it's about to photograph before you press the shutter button again and take the photo.

Why is my led screen blurry in low light before I take a picture?

It sounds like your camera settings have the( AF Assist Beam) on Off? That is the Amber Color light you see when you half press the shutter button. If that setting is set to OFF, then the camera can not focus in low light giving you blurry pictures as it can not see any light to assist the camera on focusing. If you turn on the (AF Assist Beam) to on, they when you press the shutter button half ways down you will see a Reddish/ Amber light, that light helps the camera find a focus point, giving you a slightly better low light photo.

Nikon coolpix S6000 won't focus

To focus lightly press the shutter button (the one that takes pictures). Pushing it half way tells the camera to focus. When you're ready push it the rest of the way in and it should take a nice crisp photo. If not there's a problem. Take it to a repair shop, replace it, just rely on your smartphone, or learn to deal with blurry pictures. I'd personally go with the smartphone as you always need it anyway.

My Vivitar takes blurry pictures. Kindly show me what to do to sharpen the focus. Thanks.

To focus on your subject, lightly push the shutter button (the button you use to take pictures) only half way down. When you push the shutter button half way down, this auto-focuses the camera and you can then fully press the shutter button to take your picture.

Pictures are blurry unless I push the picture switch down very slow

Good day,

I have heard a lot of complaints about people taking Blurry Photos.

There are a few possibilities for it and a few easy fixes.

The first possibility I would identify is a dirty lens. To fix this simply take a clean microfiber cloth and gently clean the lens until there are no smudges visible.

The other possibility I would identify is that the pictures are out of focus.
This problem can be caused by a dirty lens or because the object or person was not focused on. To ensure focus on your photos, line up your shot and wait for the camera to focus by pressing the shutter button half way down. When focused press the shutter button in all the way and hold the camera still until the photo appears on the screen. By doing this you will eliminate any motion that might mess up your shot.

Please let me know if these tips work for you!

Olympys fe-270 takes blurry pictures

Try this. Aim the camera at the person/object you want to take a picture of. Press the shutter button "HALF WAY DOWN" wait 2 seconds then complete by pressing all the way down to take the picture. The auto focus works on the "half way down" stroke. Some cameras have a light that goes from red to green to let you know the focus was completed. Or, just wait the 2 or so seconds.

RE: LG CU920 camera focus problem

Press the shutter button partially down and hold it there. The image centering box will turn green momentarily and then you can take the picture and it will be clear. I almost returned the phone because the pictures were blurry before I figured this out.

Pictures are coming out blurry

On digital cameras it is always best to press the button half way down before taking the picture. This helps the camera focus, thus preventing blurry images. Always, always press the button half way down. Secondly, if you are still getting blurry pictures, there is a possiblity that the sensor in your camera is bad. I don't know how old your camera is or how long you've had it, but you would need to send it for repair, exchange it, or if it's under warranty maybe they'll send you a new one.

Blurriness

This is a great camera! Are you using the focus guide to focus on your main subject. Move the camera until your main subject is in the bos ten depress the shutter button 1/2 way down to focus the subject. Leave you finger there at the focus point-You can then move the camera to take in more objects or people and gently push the shutter all the way down. Generally, the causes of out of focus photos are:

the camera in the wrong mode-just start with the general mode-usually a little camera symbol

do not change any settings-if you have go to the menu button and settings and go back to default settings

the focus feature of the camera 9explained above is not being used

You are too close to the subject (use the zoom instead)

You are experiencing camera movement by pressing on the shutter too hard or moving your hands. A tripod always works best.

You can go to www.panasonic.com and obtain a manual for your camera if you do not have it.

If your camera still gives you blurry photos, please get back to me with any info that might help- have you dropped it or gotten it wet or anything like that?

Every few photos is blurry

Try to push the shutter button half way down first so the camera will auto focus first. You should hear the lens move to focus, then press it the rest of the way down to take the picture. Your pictures should be much better quality if you do it this way.
