Firstly you'll want to check the company's website for any downloads : http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=2610&modelid=13368#DownloadDetailAct
Go there and select your OS (Operating System) and download whatever you need under the Software category. Probably My Printer & Easy-WebPrint.

1. Click the link, select [ Save ], specify "Save As", then click [ Save ] to download the file.

Memo :
If you select [ Run ] ( or [ Open ] ) instead of [ Save ], the file will be automatically installed after it is saved.

2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).

3. Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

Hi Kiranwadi,

Welcome to Fixya!

I am sorry you have lost the CD. No worries.

Click here to download the drivers for your Canon MP160
Put tick @ Download
Click the red wording "Download"
Select [ Save ]
Specify "Save As", ( you may wish to download onto the Desktop)
Click [ Save ] to download the file.
The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).
Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.
Follow the steps carefully.
DO NOT plug in the printer cable, unless the software tell you so!!
After installing, please restart the computer.

Printer driver

you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Official Canon Drivers and Software

Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

Some Canon printer may not be Vista compatible and therefore there is no driver download that works on Vista.
