My Samsung 932B Plus monitor does not turn on. The LED blinks about 3 times per second when the power cord is plugged in whether I am plugged into a computer or not. The computer recognizes the monitor, but no picture, or even the menu, just a blinking LED light. I have tried it on 3 different computers.
If you can open up the monitor from the back and get the cover off. Look on the power board and see if there are any puffy capacitors, most of the caps will have a silver flat top but if there are any bad ones, they will have a puffy top that stick up.
If you see any then make sure you replace them with capacitors of the same Uf rating and at least the same volts or more.
If you don't see any puffy caps then that means the screen is bad and the whole monitor would need to be replaced.
Testimonial: "Opened the LCD monitor up, and it was as he said. A bad capacitor. Thanks!! Replied within minutes."
I had the same problem, it turned out it wasn't recieving the single from the hard drive. I continue to have the problem if i turn the monitor off and then back on. So I discouvered that if I reboot the hard drive the startup sends a new single to the monitor and it turns on. I had pretty much was about to trash it when I accidentally discouvered that
