Question about Car Audio & Video
...just wondeed if ya can give me any assistance in changing the window regulator in the drivers door of my 2002 vectra gsi.....
any help would be appreciated...thanx---lee
Get a repair manual on your model and make of car 1st. the syteps varies from car,to car.also get a door panel removal tool ,this helps with the snaps.must find locations of screws in door panel disconnect batery before any thing unplug window and lock panels. from there u can see the window motor assembly.im not familir with that model but in my experiences it could get complicated.depending how it is mounted.you might have to take out window,or mabye shim uopp the window.depending on how it is moanted .you might not have to do none of does things maybre moter is seperat from assembly/ overall i suggest chilton car repair guides.they give u step by step depending on type year and model of vehicle.when u say regulator ,did yiou mean relay ,or is that refering to the window AASSEMBLY.IF RELAY its probably not in door at all its usually under dash board
