Philips crt 201b4 monitor

Hello
i have recently begun having problems with my monitor the control menu intermitently comes up on the screen then goes without me pressing the menu button on the monitor itself any ideas ???

My monitor give me this words control menu is locked

Hello,

Press the menu button and keep pressed for 20 seconds or untill OSD unlocked message come and same procedure for OSD lock.

first you need to check if your coputer it is powered on. try your monitor to other computer and other monitor to your computer to see where is the problem

no its not a virus the problem is your monitor itself.try to contact an expert technician of monitor.i think there is a part of your monitor that is already defective.

Philips 170B lcd monitor

Crackling sounds are probably due to a couple of capacitors failing due to age, on the control board. (They can also "whine"). Should be easily replaceable by any experienced technician. Not a difficult job.

Green horizontal lines

Hi, I have a Philips 29PT9009/12 TV. Recently I have begun to see horizontal green lines on my tv, when either watching a dvd or watch tv. This has gotten worse and now the green lines are more visible and the background is now turned a shaded green. Please help me. Thanks in advance
