How & where do I lubricate my Saeco Magic Deluxe?

  • rascalsmom Nov 29, 2009

I had a service tech (after I sent machine in for repairs cause it broke) tell me that I wasn't maintaining it correctly i.e., lubing the brew group? What is the lube for that Saeco sells as part of a maintenance package? Just the o-rings?

Never.
The machine does not need lubrication, not even on the coffee grinder. If gears lubrication is needed, that is exceptional, and must be performed by the technician. Normally the machine must not be lubricated.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning and descaling, follow instructions from page 34 on the user manual downloadable here.
Regards.

Try asking Saeco USA. I called them for a schematic of an old Super-automatica. It was very helpful. They faxed it to me.
