Kodak Easyshare C763 White-out of outdoor pictures

Kodak Easyshare C763. On indoor shots the resulting picture is slightly blurred with a yellowish hue, and the picture is made up of fine lines as if it is a picture on a TV screen.

Outdoors there seems to be massive overexposure, and in most cases the picture is an almost blank white image, with certain elements of the picture being visible faintly if the image is tilted and viewed on the LCD screen obliquely (the bottom of the image nearest to, and the top part furthest from, the eye).

When downloaded on to the computer, these elements of the outdoor picture are faintly visible in a white fog, and the lining is also apparent.

Is this also apearing on the printouts or only on the LCD?
In any case if this is a constant occurance and in all SCN and dif. lightings I believe this is a repair.
If OoW the cost is aprox. 45 pounds + shipping to the repair centre.

Green pictures

Assuming the camera is not faulty the most frequent reason for a green tint is the selection of the wrong white balance in the camera menu. The menu will contain "AWB", "daylight", sometimes represented by a stylised sun logo and indoor. If you use "daylight" for indoor photos the pictures will have a green cast. Select "AWB" for generally acceptable results. If the pictures have a green cast on outdoor pictures you have a problem

Why does my camera take white pictures outside,

Do you have the ISO set to a very high number instead of "auto ISO"?

Day time photos are white and other photos are not natural, either reddish or yellowish.

Please readjust the ISO.
In order to find a pattern please experiment: For example: Try Different SCN (If you're experiencing this problem with your night pictures try and use SCN night, the logo shows a moon and a star, with or without Flash.

Yellowish tint on faces, shadows, gold backgrounds

Check the white balance setting of the camera. As you have a yellow cast, it could be because you are using it in Fluorescent (or Tubelight) setting. Changing this to Auto should solve this problem.
