Verticle line pattern on Samsung DLP TV

Have a Samsung DLP TV with 56 inch screen. Everytime we turn it on in the AM, it comes up with verticle line pattern, shut it down, turn it on again 9several times and same thing, then finally it comes up with normal picture. New TV only a few months old. Any ideas?

Go now, to store all clain-it, is Tv Defective, they give-it u a new one. Is a Internal Inverter Board Problem. DONT WAIT ANYMORE. GO TO STORE AND CLAIM IS ON WARANTY. Dont wait to get out of waranty. If any problem with claim, send a email to Samsung Headquarters, they resolve this quicky, and free in all situations.(IT´s company politics)

when the color wheel stops the picture will be all over the place. and you will have lines when it starts to fail as its not going fast enough for the picture. wining sound is it wearing out.

First off there isn't a timing board in a plasma TV. I would guess you have a bad y-sus board.

I have a HL-R5067W Dlp. Turned it on and have verticle black lines. Eight lines then 1 1/2" space then Eight lines repeated across complete screen.

It sounds that dlp chip got defective and need to be replaced to fix the lines issue. Local tv repairman will help you to get it replaced if you do not have experience of tv repair.

Screen is not a true square: One verticle side shorter than other

Simply just manualy adjust the bottom of the screen by adjusting the distance by an inch or so.
Depending on what screen you have adjust it from behind or vith a thin thread

Most likely it's due to the LCD panel assy failure. It may cost you as much as to buy a new tv. The LCD panel is very expensive in retail market.

Verticle lines on screen

This is a very easy fix. Your cable box is not grounded correctly. To fix this you need a AC Plug adapter. This will change your TV ac plug from a 3 wire to a 2 wire. This may sound funny, but trust me on this. I have fix a lot of TV in NY doing just this.
