Instructions I bought a this crib from somebody unassembled and it didn't come with any instructions. My baby is due anyday and I'm trying to get it put together before she comes home.

According to the CPSP information the company appears to be out of business to some degree and are not providing repair kits.

If you know where you purchased the crib, check to see what their policy is reguarding recalled baby products.

We had purchased ours at walmart almost 8 years ago and were able to return it to another store in a different state for a full refund last summer. They did not need a reciept received, they just needed the manufacturer label on the part that the mattress lies on.
Because ours was older, the customer service clerk did have to work hard to find the crip in their system, but once she did, it was not problem at all.

I am sorry to have to tell you that evenflo no longer makes cribs and no longer sells replacement parts for them Several of the evenflo cribs were recalled due to the fact that the slats were too far apart and babies heads got stuck in them.

The springs (I am presuming you mean the little springs, not the springs for the mattress placement) go on the little rod that the side of the crib slides up and down on. They should be at the bottom of the slide bar. This is to keep it from just dropping with a bang and creating injury.

Do you have a friend with a child/baby crib that you could take a photos of, use it as directions? Sometimes the simplest thing in trying to remember the order of putting it together is befuddling.

Another idea, see if there is a store that carries that crib, tell them you don't have the instructions to reput it back together, they may take it from the box, zerox it for you for free. Unless you have a brand name, googling won't get you the proper instructions either. My babies did not use a crib that had sides up and down.
