Check the keyboard. If it is defective replace it. You might want to hook up a USB keyboard to ascertain that the laptop keyboard is the one that is defective.
Hello
If the new keyboard is behaving same, then try to plug in an external keyboard to see if that works okay. You can use any USB keyboard. If this keyboard works, you have a hardware problem and need repair from Sony Support.
Hope this helps, Good Luck
Try and double chek all settings relate to keyboard and mouse by following below steps.
go to control panle- Mouse, double check it has not changed the settings the way normally works for left-right click and wheel.
regarding keyboard, go to control panle- regional and language settings. double check all settings are fine there.
if you dont get luck with anything, you might have Sony utility relate to keyboard/mouse. you can search for that program from start menu and within all programms.
let me know, if nothing works or any other issues.
also, let me know which operating system you have on Sony Laptop?
Sony Vaio is one of the most unreliable laptops known to man, and some known to monkeys. My suggestion- save everything you want on cds/dvds and reload whendoze. After that, send it back to Sony if you can.
Let your computer boot as normal.Go to Device manager>under keyboards your wireless keyboard should show. If its not there reload it from the set up disc that came with your hardware i.e keyboard and mouse. If its listed enable it or uninstall and reinstall.
