The wires from the wii to hook into my samsung t.v. do not match is there an alternative wire configuration that I might be able to obtain?

Should be a simple matter of connecting either through a wireless or wired connection. If your router is giving out proper DHCP leases the WII should configure itself easily. You can check the settings in the network menu on the setup of the wii.

Use the three coloured wires coming from the wii and connect them to the three on the back of the tv, make sure the colours match. Then plug everything else in and turn on, then go to your tv settings and choose the right input.

It sort of depends on where the problem manifests itself. On the most basic end, you need a wireless router configured to use your internet signal and the networking options on your Wii configured to match the security settings on that router. try something else for the Wii to see if the unit is ok, to be honest it sounds like it is not hooked up correctly but since not there I cannot tell from your description.

you may have a bad yelllow rca cable for color make sure its plugged in right. or try plugging them into a different input. make sure all the right colors are matched up and pressed ALL THE WAY IN. if not you will need to upgrade your cables to svideo cable, hdmi, or component cable (the red blue and green cable)

Are you sure you have the cables plugged into the right spots? Be sure you match up the colors if you are using the Red , Yellow, & white cables. I know my Samsung LED TV required a different set-up than my other samsung tvs, you might want to refer to your tv manual to clarify the set-up configurations.

Converting from a 4 wire to a 3 wire configuration is as follows:

BLACK (HOT) - 120 VAC
RED (HOT) - 120 VAC
WHITE (NEUTRAL) - 0 VAC
GREEN or BARE - GROUND

Match the appropriate colors at the terminal block. In a 3 wire configuration the ground wire is connected to the neutral at the terminal block.

NOTE: If the wires on the plug/terminal block are not color coded, the outer two wires are your hot leads. The center conductor is neutral.
