I have a canon eos 50d camera and i have downloaded the help information but i need someone to walk me through the process of editing my pictures and videos

Almost all early Quantaray lenses (and Sigma lenses, Sigma made Quantaray) in the Canon EOS mount will show error messages on Canon digital cameras (but still work fine on older EOS film cameras). usually err99 but err01 also. There is no DIY fix and Sigma ran out of update parts years ago. Current production lenses and Canon made lenses will not have this problem. This lens would only work for someone shooting EOS film cameras with no intention of "upgrading" their system to digital Canon cameras in the future.

I could not find a 'black' or 'blank' screen problem and solution in the FAQ's.

The body is good value for the money. With proper lens arsenal you'll be able to take quite good pictures. It is not something you'd call 'a professional camera body', but completely adequate for a 'more-than-average snapper'.

I have an Apple imac and a Canon 50D DSLR camera. I Loaded all the Canon "MAC" software on th imac. When Camera is connected to imac EOS Utility just "hangs". It just does not respond at all. Is fine of Windows XP machine but imac, nothing.

Did you figure this out? I would send it back asap so your warranty can cover the problem. Also run over to Ritz camera or another camera store to figure if they can help. Ask for their Canon expert. I hope this helps.

You need to download the Adobe camera raw plug-in for the EOS-50D from their web site, I don't know if the 50D plug-in is available for CS3, it wasn't for CS2,
