Question about RCA TH1101 MP3 Player
I lost the disc for software and am trying to load it on a new computer, it detects it and the songs but when I try to play it, it won't play the songs that I loaded with Yahoo Music Jukebox
I had many of the same problems as listed above. what worked for me was to go here and download the firmware upgrade installer. Follow the directions and be sure to check the reformat box b4 you start. My pearl th1100a is working fine now.
Hope this helps

There is no 'driver'...There is no 'software'...If you want Yahoo Music Jukebox, then download it here:
Drag and drop files like any other USB 'memory' stick...
The latest RCA discs only have the manual and Windows Media Player 11...

I have tried the help at http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/product.aspx?product=27&post=6
and all it gives you is the firmware for the MP3 player itself. How do I get the computer software disc? I tried getting ahold of RCA and they still haven't answered my e-mail other than to say they will get back to me on the problem. I am totally disappointed in their service and will not purchase any more of their products unless they make this right. I had songs downloaded and the MP3 player deleted all of them while it was turned off. I tried to use my disc and for some reason the only thing it will download now is the manual. (I haven't had any problems downloading any other software on my computer before or after this disc.) I can't seem to get a disc from RCA to make it right. I did re-download the firmware just to make sure it was right. The computer said it downloaded that right. I am so disappointed that RCA hasn't taken care of this problem.

You will want to make sure the the songs are being stored in open .mp3 formate or Windows Media format (.wma). For more information on the software and the device visit RCA's website at http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/product.aspx?product=27&post=6
