Didn't find much info on this, but googled and came across instructions on how to change screen resolution.

http://www.west.asu.edu/it/start/faqs/resolutionosx.htm

anyhow, ends up it was a quick and simple fix as i guess my macbook came with a default lower screen resolution. glad i persisted and didn't bother buying a shareware that was recommended on another post.

My Mac will not install the Digital camera Solution Disk says my screen resolution is insufficient...

This must be because you have a widescreen monitor or because you have set a screen resolution that's too low for anything.
Most programs ask for a screen resolution higher than 1024x768 (which they rarely actually need) to install.
So you can change yours to that value (or higher) for the installation and if it distorts your display, set it back to the original value later.
To see how to change your resolution, go to this site; http://www.ehow.com/how_2064940_change-display-resolution-mac-osxchange-display-resolution-mac-osx.html
After setting the resolution to 1024x768 or higher, run the installation and it should proceed with no problems.

While trying to install Canon Camera software, I'm getting a message that says ''screen resolution to execute digital camera solution disk is not sufficient.

Select the "Start" menu in the lower left corner of your computer monitor screen. Select "Control Panel", then double-click on "Display".

Click on the upper "Settings" tab, then move the slider bar to the right, to at least 1024 x 768 pixel. Then hit Apply or OK. This will increase the screen resolution of your computer monitor so that it will be compatible with the Canon software.

I got a new computer (Gateway) and I installed the software for my canon scanner and whenever I try to open it I get a box that says ''insufficient memory.'' How can I fix this?

Since you're getting this error, I believe that the software is not completely installed. To fix it:

* Uninstall the scanner software.
* Check the target location (if you're going to install it in drive C: or D: or any drive letters). Make sure that the location has enough memory space to accommodate the file size of the scanner software.
* Delete some unnecessary files.
* Re-install the scanner software.

This should fix the problem. Have a great day!

I just bought a Canon d750. When I went to install the software it told me that the screen resolution to execute digital camera disk is not suffcient. I'm running Windows XP, and there shouldn't be a...

The operating system is not relevent to the screen resolution. This can be set from very low to the maximum that the monitor and display card combination can handle.

If you cannot achieve the proper resolution on your computer, it is possible that the display card and monitor combination may be not up to date to work with the camera software.

You have to make sure that the screen resolution is set to the minimum setting as recomended by the manufacture.

You can find the settings in the screen settings properties. Refer to the installation instructions for details.

Intalling camera software.

Greetings Shayy,

Generally screen resolution refers to your computers resolution which is controlled via the control panel of your computer. I would try fiddling with other screen resolutions to see if this helps. This will cause items on your computer to either be larger or smaller than you are used to, but you might find you like it better.

You would go to control panel>display>settings, to adjust this.

I hope this helps.

Hi, I just bought a Canon Rebel, and I'm trying to download the EOS Digital Solution DIsck and I'm getting a message that says my screen resoltution is not sufficient? Help.

This is an easy fix.

Go to your control panel. Click start/control panel/display/settings.
There you will find your screen resolution slider. Slide all the way up to high resolution and apply settings. Your icons and everything on your screen will be smaller.

Install disk and go back and set your resolution as low or high as you wish once installed!

Hope this helps!

Unable to install the canon Software

Under your control panel in "Display" go to the settings tab and slide the resolution bar to:

Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels or more,
Color quality: Medium (16 bit) or more

That should do it.
