I've loaded several .JPG files on a memory card but only some of them display. I think it might have something to do with resolution because the files from a new camera are the ones most often not displaying.
I have tried three different digital frames with the same problem. I contacted the Help Desk of one manufacturer. He claimed that tthere are several versions of the .jpg format and some would not work with their frame. I had never heard anyone claim that there are different .jpg types and really doubted his explaination but I can't argue with what I am seeing - some work and some don't. I asked the Help Desk how you could tell the difference. He said the only way is that you have to know what computer program originally created the file. Of course, with thousands of photos, that would be impossible. So... I don't have an answer - just a questionable explaination. Sorry I could not be of more help.
If you have VISTA, connect the mem stick to your computer and view the folder with the pictures in it. If you look closely at the details of each file (file info or detail view) you will see that the ones that display have different info than the ones that don't. (For me, the majority of the portrait orientated ones wouldn't show.) I don't remember exactly what quality was the problem so put two side by side that have the same HxW and orientation and compare their detailed info. Whichever one is the offender, you can modify and save it in VISTA.

After you downloaded it,
you'll find that you save fila named MsvDriveE.jpg.
Don't worry! You just downloaded the right file. Rename the extention *.jpg, and change it to *.sis. Then you'll get MsvDriveE.sis then install
it to your phones.
Thank you
