My lg441g has no sound when placing calls

Try answering a call or sending one while doing this try raising the volume by pressing the volume up key if you see the volume is up and you are still not hearing then the reciever speaker is probably damaged and should be repaired by someone capable of doing so
Hope i helped :)

Can hear caller on speaker on but not on headset. when someone calls and i answer i cannot hear them on the headset only on speaker. voice volume is all the way up.

The headset speaker is faulty, the earpiece.
So open the phone and make a audio test on the earpiece , If the sensitivity is low the earpiece speaker is faulty.
replace or try with a salvaged on frrom an old phone. Now you are confirmed. If not there can be issues in the board, the preamplifier.

Hi I can't hear the phone when someone is calling I can't find a ringer button.

Plug the cord in for the answering machine. The answering machine does not have to be on though. Now, press the top volume button with the plus sign next to it. Do the opposite to lower the volume.

How do I turn up the volume to hear people talking louder...all I can find is how to turn up the ringer volume...

On most mobile phones this is a setting hidden somewhere in the "Settings" or "Options" menu, but the easiest way to to fix it is with a simple phone call. While you are currently on a call with another person, you can turn the speaker volume up using the same button to turn up the ringer volume.

Note that this will only work if you try to turn up the volume while the phone on the other end is ringing or you are currently connected on a call.

Kenwood KDC-BT838U -- Low audio on incoming phone calls only.

Patrick -
I have the reverse problem.  Callers can hardly hear me. I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls.  You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both.  Check the manual and make sure its set to both.

I can not hear someone

when you are on a call just note where your fingers are on the side of the phone.
is there an up and down button on the side?
If so you may be raising and lowering the volume by accident.
when you answer a call press the up arrow on the side and this will raise the earpiece volume but this can only be done with on a call.
