run the clean cartridge utility at least 5 times in a row, and view the test page after every cleaning, there should be an improvement, sometimes it takes more than 5 tries

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Unless you have 'VOIP' telephone service with Comcast, your FAX will connect through your home's telephone line, not the internet (or modem). You would connect your phone line to the all-in-one printer, then follow Dell's instructions for use. Good luck!
Can you pull out the catridges and make sure you have taken the plastic off the gold strips properly. That can cause errors as there will be no connection to the printer. I hope it's a simple solution and this helps you
just check the phone line is connected to the fax if your ans is yes then pls connect one ordinary handset and chek you are geeting the dial tone and you are able to make call chek the socekt connecton also whtether it is conncetd to the proper line socket not in ext.
