you have to let it install and dont connect your phone until it has finished once it has finished then click on mototrola phone tools icon on the desktop. it should tell you to set up your phone click next then once you have done that then you it should give you 3 options click cable. then next and follow the prompts.

You need the softeare MPT (Motorola Phone Tools). You can dowload that soft from Motorola web page. It is recommened by Motorola.

hey!!!!! istead of installin themes its a better option to install skins!!!! you can find skins for the v3i in most of the websites!!! To install these skins you need a software called skiman which can be downloaded from motomodders .net.... also remember to download the p2k drivers b4 installin them!!!!

hai this is sandipan..from india.dear you should have a cd of motorola mobile tools right.ok now you install this cd on your pc. now connect your mobile phone with your pc through data cable.first check your usb port of your com.ok.now start the software(motorola mobile tools) which you installed.it will ask you for the settings.go for the default settings.and please do no update it through net.otherwise sometimes it could make some prob.then the software will initialise your mobile.after a proper connection you can access to computer.

yep simply attach the cable start your motorola ponetools and tada you are done

check the battery status of ur phone

 if u installed any third pary software uninstall that, than try ,, if facing same problem than contact motorola care center
