Hi, I have a Kenwood stereo and the Power Amplifier/Graphic Equalizer does not power on. I think the model is B-B5. This is what it says on it. The power keeps going on and off. The system was working perfectly then a couple of days ago it started cutting out in mid-play. Now it does not seem to start. It makes a noice as if it is trying to switch on but does not. Can you advise on how or who can fix such 'vintyage, equipment. I am not an expert and have no clue about these things. Regards Chris
If the unit is old, I would start a he beginning and check the wiring connections. A lot of people use electrical tape without solder and it always works itself apart. Pay very close attention to the ground wire because it could be a common ground type system, meaning the battery ground is used for the speakers as well as the power for the eq.
