Hi Zigma,

Some internet applications needs video and or sound stream controls needed some file to run or view. In this case, you can hardly tell what downloaded programs you have installed that overrides the default installed drivers. In some case upon uninstalling some program it will ask "are you share to remove the shared file xx.xx?" Now to regain back the sound card driver you had. You must check the sound card driver at control panel sound settings property. Remove it or update the driver you will need to. Note: check if any the soundcard driver file properties has an error marked. This helps you determine the drivers fault or conflicts.

Best regards,

I cannot download updates for Adobe Reader. I get

Completely uninstall Adobe Reader and download the full version Adobe's website. It sounds like one of the files is corrupt. Uninstalling it first should allow you to bypass the problem and install the latest version.
