LG LST243C-2 My LG split aircon is coming on and after about 30 mins a constant stream of water spills out the front and down the wall. It will continue until you turn the system off. The temp is always set at 25Degs Cel and I have not had any other problems with it so far. It is 4 years old.

- Check your air filter at the indoor if clean.
- Check your evaporator fins if clean.
- Check if no icing in your evaporator and outdoor pipes.
- If your air filter and evaporator fins is clean and icing is present then your unit is under charge.
- When your indoor drips check your drain pipe if there are water comes out. If no water drain from your drain pipes then your drainage is restricted.
- Flush your drainage with water using your garden hose to flush out dirts from your drainage.

Enigma SLR61-GW. System runs for about 30 mins and then shuts down and a status light blinks 4 times.

Open the front end of the blower.
You will find tow filters that slide out.
Clean them with water and replays them.

Go to the outside one, take a hosepipe and run a strong stream of water thru the radiator until its clean.

This will solve your problem.

Good luck.

We have 2.0 HP inverter wall mounted LG aircon, when we turn on the ac, the indoor unit only is running and shut down after 3 mins. What is the solution?

Hi Marie, does the green indicator light on the front panel flash after it shuts down? If it does...count how many times it flashes this will refer to a fault code diagnostic.

Split system air coditioners (3 off) LG LST243C-2, remote controls work intermittently or not at all after batt change. Reset does not help. Are they able to be rejuvenated (?) or is replacement only...

There is transmission problem. either with remote or in PCB. Check with mobile camera by pressing any button in your remote. If ultra light flashed in your remote, it's o.k. Then you have to repair/replace PCB only.

Lg split type leaking water from bottom seams

There is a drain tray under the fins in the wall unit which collects condensed water and and drain it out through a outlet. Sometime the tray gets clogged wit the dust and thus water instead of going towards outlet gets accumulated at one place and spill over. You can remove the front cover and see this water out let and the tray. Clean it and ensure that it is connected to outlet properly. Also check your water out let pipe which throws the water out is not clogged with the muck/dirt as this the most common cause for water leakage in the machine. The condensed water has no get away,

Whenever we switch on the ac after 5 to 10 mins water starts leaking from the indoor unit front side.

most likley your airco needs servicing.there is a condensate drain off on the outside where the copper piping comes out the wall,if after the 5 to 10 mins no water comes out through there it could mean that the drainline is choked..also u can check to see if your evaporator is graded properly to ensure a proper drain out of the condensate:-)

Best split ac 1.5 ton

I think you just have a faulty unit. Most of the mid wall split units have similar components and there are only cosmetic differences. Lg is strangely enough a good aircon. Personally i like Samsung .(Spares are easily available). You should concider who the best after sales service supplier is and go that way. (As stated, most units are similar in my oppinion.)

WATER LEAKING FROM MY SPLIT TYPE LG AIRCON

1. Do not set the aircon too low temperature in overcast weather, this will cause ice ups and water dripping. Optimal comfort zone temperature is 24c.
2. You need to open the grill cover on the front of the aircon which unclips either end left and right with a finger pressure. You will find two filters which can slide out and should be cleaned. First tap them together to remove dust, then you can wash them with mild soap and cold water.
3. There is the third possibility that an insect has made a nest in the drainpipe. You should look on the outside of the building and locate a plastic drainpipe. You can either blow into this pipe with your mouth or get a blower. This will unblock any restriction in the drainpipe.
Goodluck and ratemeplease.
