did you try new batteries in the remote? if the tv has buttons on the side and one of them being power di you try to push that? did you push tv power or cable power holding the buttons longer? those things might work.
I'm having same issue with same TV. It powers off after about an hour and red power light starts flashing. Only way to power back on is by unplugging TV and waiting a while, then plugging it back in, but then the TV will turn off again after a few more minutes, red light flashing again. I've checked the sleep timer and it is turned off, so any other solutions to this problem? All capacitors on power board look fine (not blown). I've read it could be solder joints in power board need to be resoldered.
you have some caps that have failed in the dm module
that will have to be replaced to correct the problem
if your know how to change them and have the tools the caps can be obtained through most electroinc parts suppliers
there 1000mfd 16v we increase working voltage to 35WV
if you can change them let me know and i can give you locations on the board and the dm stands on the right side of chassis at rear
The flashing LED may be telling you the source of the problem; note the relative spacing of the flashes and the number of times it flashes before staying off.
The set is trying to tell you where it is sick but I suspect it is related to the power supply; the most common failure point of most modern sets.
