Dropped my phone in the toilet and doesn't stay on now

Ok so like a few weeks ago i had dropped my SGH-A737 in toilet like an idiot but i had it in the key pocket on my pants, it turned off once it hit the water, so i out the thing in a bowl of rice to get all that water out (and urine) i then waited 2 days and till i tried to turn it on again, it would say ''downloading'' and vibrate non stop, so i took the battery out and put the phone and battery in my back-up dresser, i'm currently using a SGH - S437 the thing's simple and nice but i like my SGH - A737 better cause it got clearer pics and all that good stuff, so this mornin i put my sim in it, battery back in and it would load :D only down fall was that it was slower than a turtle and would turn off, i kept turing and it's load and turn off now, not even come up with my menu, bars, 3G, nothing, any way i could fix this?

it ain't all that disapointing to me but puting it in alcohol, that's disapointing, i may be a dumb 15 year old but that just sound like it'd make it worse, the most i wanna be able to do with my SGH - A737 is get the pics off and onto my next phone, most of them i can't get back, like the car and truck pics, animal pics, etc

Hey, it happens! Next time though, find a bottle of alcohol, remove the battery, and soak the phone in a bowl of rubbing alcohol for a few minutes. If alcohol isn't available, sink it in a bowl of water until you can find the alcohol- Bring it out of the alcohol, THEN break out the rice, etc.
I'd guess the logic switches are compromised, preventing the turn-off.

I'm sorry the solution is disappointing to you. Truth is the phone will not respond at this point no matter what you do, so technically there is no fix for this phone.
I've saved a three toilet phones, one of which went bad, but not until after we moved the numbers to a SIM card.
    Best wishes.
