I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the dryer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. Over the years, I haven't had much trouble with my dryers. However I can suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on dryers and other appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. If you have an error code you can probably find the meaning of it there. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

Totai heater wont stay on after lit

Without a pilot flame sensor signal the pilot light will not stay on and the heater won't work. Try Replacing the pilot flame sensor, the pilot flame burns on to it and it connects to the valve. It looks like a wire.

Maytag Dryer runs for 8-10 seconds then shuts off accompanied by burning smell

When you say it runs for 8 - 10 seconds, do you mean it spins for that long or the flame is lit for that long?

Goodman furnace gmh95090cxac wont stay lit keeps clicking will lite then clicks back off what would be the problem

Hello, if the burners light but do not stay on for more than 10 seconds, I would clean the flame sensor. The flame sensor is a metal rod that is on the opposite side of the Igniter, sometimes it gets coated by oxidation and does not sense the burner flame and shuts the Furnace down. To clean to kill power to tje furnace, remove flame sensor and clean with a steel wool, then reinstall and start Furnce back up. If this does not work then most likely the Igniter is too weak to ignite the gas and will have ro be replaced.

Oven wont stay lit

If you are talking about the little flame that is supposed to be burning at all times then you need to go to a hardware store and purchase a thermocouple. It is a small copper tube that sense's the flame. When working it will constantly burn a pilot flame so that when you turn on the oven it will ignite the gas in the burner. Once the burner is lit it will stay lit until the oven reaches the desired temperature. Replace the THERMOCOUPLE.

Pilot light wont stay lit, even when on high

Pilot lights are supposed to stay on when the flames are burning. If they didn't the flames would go out, because the pilot flame against the Thermocouple keeps the pilot burning. It's a safety feature.

My dryer takes hours to dry one load of clothes. Cleaned all lint from it. It's warm, not hot. Flame is on.

you need to either dismantle the venting pipe ductwork inside the dryer and get inside the duct and loosen all dried on lint which is holding moisture in,otherwise the cycling switch for the flame is cutting out tooooo sooooon and your not drying the load properly per selected load setting

Vent less gas heater wont stay burning. starts nice blue flame and than goes out no polite lite no flame.

If your heater does not stay burning then you should check each of the internal components over to ensure that they are working properly. Look at your heater's manual to do this. Failing this, the best thing to do is to buy a new one as the cost of repairing one can cost loads of money. Good luck :)

Have a Maytag gas dryer, model#:LDG7314AAE, flame wont stay lit.

Clean/repair your dryer vent. The flame when it exits the funnel should not touch or just barely touch the funnel end. This indicates good airflow. A good test for the clogged/damaged vent is to disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and run it as is. If the flame stays - clean vent. If not - clean air path inside the dryer

Blue flame heater pilot wont stay lit

There is a therma-couple that the flame burns against. When it is working correctly it allows gas to travel to the flame. When it goes out you get no gas, as a safety feature. Replace the therma couple and it should work again.
