Hi,
To reset lamp timer in Sony VPL-ES3,
Press following keys on the remote control in following order for less than 5 seconds each,
RESET, <<, >>, ENTER
This will reset lamp timer.

I am having a problem with the lamp/cover light stays on! brand new lamp have had projector serviced, sometimes works sometimes does'nt. Please help this is the second new lamp both have worked for 2/3...

Go into the menu and reset the lamp timer.

Reset Timer Lamp Sony VPL-HS60 projector

According to the manual, you need access to the RESET button, the left and right arrows and the ENTER button to clear the counter. Press the following in order for less than 5 seconds each:

RESET
Left Arror
Right Arrow
ENTER

The above sequence should clear the counter.

Hello,

Set the projector in standby mode.

Press the following buttons on remote control in following order for less then five seconds each...

RESET,

<=== ,

===>,

ENTER

Lamp timer is reset now.

This is also mentioned in user manual page 50
