I left my creative zen over night on a damp

I left my creative zen over night on a wet surface (by mistake). when i went to get it in the morning the base was wet and now it won't turn on, does this mean the battery is destroyed or the whole player? any help would me much appreciated.

Creative Zen M:vision - can't turn on/off, permanent blue light

Well, i didn't charge mine over night, was listening to it in the evening while doing some chores and all of a sudden it stopped playing, Blank screen and permanent Blue light. I tried to turn if off but it didn't respond so i left it. In the morning, it went off itself (guess the battery was low). So i connected to the computer and inserted the ZEN CD. As i was exploring the CD looking for a solution, then all of a sudden the screen came up with a note "Rebuilding..." after 5 secs it came on. With all my files intact! I hope this wud be helpful, You could give it a shot, after all there's nothing to loose!

You may need to do a format on your Zen. It sounds like the file system is corrupt. For more detailed instructions on how to troubleshoot your Zen, click here

My Zen Stone Won't Charge

I have the same problem. I used it like 10 times. I believe the problem is that it has a liIon battery and it does not have protective circuitary on the battery. Do you notice that if you charge it and let it sit, the battery goes dead. Thats becuase there is a constant drain on the battery. LiIon batteries have a nominal voltage and if the voltage drops below that level, they won't charge any more.

Try plugging it in and pressing the on button to see if the blue charge light goes on. Do this over and over again to see if you can trickle charge it up to a level where the full charge will start. If not, its junked because Creative did not make the battery serviceable which is a 2nd mistake.

Personally, I hope never to buy another Creative product.

Good Luck.

Creative zen crash

The zen man need a full charge... if you have an ac adapter plug it in for at least eight hours. if you don't have an ac adapter plug it in via USB to a DESKTOP computer (not laptop) and try to use a differnt usb cord (creative doesn't always include a powerful enough cord to get the zen out of that low power state)

You don't loose all your music if you reset it.

refer to creative.com/support and look up info on your model to see if anyone else has your issue.

if it is totally busted your player is still under warranty
