In order to find your protected recording in the history on your DVR, you would simply press the button specifically labeled, "DVR" on your DISH Network remote, the DISH On Demand screen will then come on your tv, proceed by selecting "My recordings," on the "My Recordings" screen you will then select the "Sort" option. Once you have selected the sort option it will allow you to specify how you want the recordings sorted- the option you would want to select is, "Protected." I hope this helps you out, let me know if you need any other help! -Kirstie DISH Network

On my DVR there is a "protect" option that will prevent me from deleting a recording. You have to press the "protect" button again to unprotect it.Once unprotected you should be able to delete the recording.

I have accidently deleted my call history and i need to retrieve a number, is there a code to help me get my call history back for samsung c3050

Amanda, There is no way that you can retrieve the deleted data in the mobile phones.
Hwever, you can make a request to the service provider for your call records between the dates that you remember when that call came. They can give your call record for that period.

We keep losing shows! They record just fine, but then a few have disappeared, even when protected. Any ideas where they might be, and/or how to keep this from happening?

Check to see how full you DVR is. This happened to us and our DVR was filled up. When that happens the DVR starts to delete stuff, even protected things. It will first delete non-protected shows and then if there are none left to delete and room is still needed, it will delete other shows. Not sure, or can't remember how it prioritizes the deletion but it happens.
Check how full you DVR is and that may be where your problem lies.

My DVD recorder LG RH1858 isn't recording properly. It shows the message "record blocking sidnal are detected". Please inform.

Unfortunately, your recorder is picking up a signal in the broadcast that copy-protects the show. The recorder is programmed to forbid copying of protected material. Depending on the source of the copy-protection, you may be able to block out the copy protection signal with a hardware filter. One example of these would be the Sima CT-2 that is placed between the S-out of the receiver and the S-in of the recorder.

I hope this helps.

(One common sources with this issue: a DVR that passes on the copy protection to an attached DVD recorder. Particularly some of the new Satellite/Cable receivers with built-in DVRs. The non-DVR models of the products usually filter out the copy-protection.)

All protected & unprotected recordings lost - possibly moved to History. In My Recordings, one program was listed - a basketball game that we did not record. A day or two before these things happened,...

There are no history for your recordings, whatever shows up in your recording list is what you have. if this did this on its own then it sounds as if you have hard drive failure on your dvr and it will need to be replaced. Your protected events should never delete unless there is failure or deleted by a user.

I have mistakenly erased everything on my Sagem digibox hard disc - is there any way of retrieving this material?

Hi! I sorry to hear that you mistakenly erased everything from your sagem digibox hard disc. Im afraid there is no other way to retrieve everything that is in the hard disc. Bcoz the hard disc of you sagem digibox only depends on the software that is installed on the system in order to save and record. I have a dish dvr as well that can record and save dvr events, but once I delete the event, its gone forever..

please feel free to get in touch
