Question about Dell E196FP 19" LCD Monitor
I'll be on the internet and at random times, it seems, a bunch of colored lines just appear. Sometimes all over the screen and sometimes just over pictures or videos. It's been doing this constantly lately, is there anything I can do to fix it?
This is caused by the driver tabs between the LCD panel and the controller board that runs it inside.
In general, it is not a repairable thing, and can be very expensive to repair if you choose to go that route.
Please note this is not the video card that is inside the monitor,(where your cable from the PC connects to the monitor) but the actual driver board for the panel.
