My Kodak m1063 gets a pink sky in the background,I can adjust the lighting setting and it helps some but it goes right back to the same on the next picture,so I can't take a picture rihgt after each without readjusting.Indoors I don't have that problem unless there is a very bright light in the background.

It sounds like your white-balance is off on the magenta side of things. This could be caused by a number of factors, though I would explore your camera's white balance setting to make sure it's set for the right lighting situation. If changing your white balance setting fails, it may be a more serious issue with your sensor or other camera hardware, requiring a professional to repair it.

Open the bezel and check for loose or damaged connection cable. Look specially next to the hinge, ON THE LEFT.
In case the problem is not the cable you might have to get a new LCD. You can have replacement parts and instructions here:
Sane problem with C713, the view screen is dark and gives focus warning, then the pics come out with a pink tint. I believe it is the sensor or shutter problem. Can't get any solutions either.
