Missing Key , From Key Board

just unhook the battery cables and replace battery. shorting out the computer rarely happens if done right. as a matter of fact with the key on you have powered up the system when you connect the battery causing an electrical surge that could cause a problem.

It has probably been a while since you set up the security options on your Linksys router, and chances are, you've forgotten or lost the WEP key.
Luckily, you can easily recover this security code when you need it.
A base computer and a printer are required for this task.

Open a Web browser on your base computer.
Navigate to the Linksys setup menu by typing "http://192.168.1.1" into the browser's address bar and pressing "Enter."
This is the router's LAN address.


Locate the "Security" tab near the top of the window.
Clicking on this tab unlocks your WEP code, so to speak the code is now displayed on the screen.

Print this screen by clicking "File" and then "Print" on your browser's toolbar.
Verify that the entire page printed correctly and that no digits are missing from the end of the WEP key.
If any numbers are missing, fill them in.

Type in your WEP key when prompted by the wireless setup screens on other computers in your network.
This will allow the computers to access your local network and the Internet.

Return to the base computer and close out of the Linksys setup screen by clicking the red "X" in the upper right corner of the application window.

Thats caused by missing DD6v from the GM board replaceing the GM board should solve the problem there were two versions used based on your serial number. You can get the correct GM for your application from www.tvrepairworld.com

need to remove covers surrounding the cylinder then open the key to position 2 ,1 click under the cylinder there is a little metal tab ..you will need to push it in while pulling lightly on the key and the tumbler should slide out ...be carefull if you are replaceing it you will need to program it

Your display panel has lost communication with the main control board . Replaceing the board is the only solution . The main control board , is behind the refrig , behind an 8X10" panel . Pt # WR55X10942 . Easily replaceable due to the 6-7 group plug ins , will only fit to certain recepticals ( with the same amount of pins in the same amount of recepticals ) . Be sure to unplug the refrig when replaceing .

Replace the entire keyboard as there is NO other way. IF,it just the Key Caps then sometimes you can purchase just those from manufacturer.

loss of green color indications of failure of green crt. or green crt board. replaceing the tube ussaly cost 250 for part. however tube replacement in these set are very labor intensive. involveing removing and complex setup issues. at our shop it around 500 to replace one tube. rhese set ussaly not cost effective to repair unless under warrenty

try if an external keyboard works. if another keyboard works, you have to call acer to ask how you can go about replaceing the keyboard.
