Check the usb port, when connected to your pc, does your device manager revognize the device?. If it doesn't then check the cable and the port on the computer as well as on the printer. If you do see a connection, go to your printers and hardware folder and look for the driver right click on the driver and look for the properties, Once you have the properties window open look for the ports tab and check to see what port is selected.
