Blank screen screen lights up, but its blank...can anyone help?

i fell on my phone and the screen is now blank when i turn it on. i can dial numbers and the phone works fine but the screen is lit up and black

There is problem with ribbon of ur phone, ribbon is that parts which connects ur slider part of phone to the lower part of ur phone. ribbon might be damaged. take it technician for replacing it with new one, once it will get replaced u will be able to see ur screen working.

Laptop turns on, Screen stays blank

Sounds like one of two options, it's either a blown out back light or you have a graphics problem. If it's the back light, you should still hear windows boot up and no picture. Try one of two things. Either hook it up to a external monitor or try a flashlight and see if you can see any images when you shine it across the screen.
