B: Open rear deck lid. A Remove rear decked trim panel (see Repair Manual, Body
Interior, Group 70- Interior Remove Lock housing cover. Tip: To remove lock housing cover, gently pry between the locking
pawl and cover guides while pulling down on cover. Underside of cover shown for
case of location identification. A Remove the lock dampening rubber by pulling downward out
of lock housing. Image Install new rear lock dampening rubber Part No. lCO 827 589
B. Tip: Ensure proper engagement of lock dampening rubber retaining
tab into the lock housing and is seated on the guide slots. A Install lock housing cover. A Install rear deck lid trim panel (see Repair Manual, Body
