Steps in downloading the driver
1. go to www.support.hp.com 2. enter your product name which is f-4288 then click next 3. click 'software and driver downloads' 4. choose your operating system then click next = to know your operating system just click start then right click on my computer or computer then click properties 5. click driver (1) 6. click 'HP deskjet full feature software and driver 7. click download then run

Just Download the HP F4280 Driver for Windows 7 and install it.

check your CD may for windows XP not for Win 7 your have to download win7 drivers from HP Site

or go to following link you will able to find win7 drivers

Sounds like the drivers are not installing properly. Are you installing through the CD or downloading the drivers from the HP website. Since a lot of the new drivers are no longer supporting XP you will need to download a scrubber utility and delete all of the pre installed drivers and attempt to reinstall through a manual installation of the drivers.

Web page sometimes formated in odd shape/format you may need to print preview to see how it had been formated prior printing the page...this will avoid printing partial informatin and etc...
