Fisher paykel dishwasher is starting on its own. Will not stop Both drawers . Need help and approximate cost to fix.

Hello,

This indicates the flood switch has been tripped. The video in the link below explains how to access and repair single and double drawer fisher and paykel dishwashers. Its a really good Fisher Paykel dishwasher repair video it really helped me.

It would help to know which LEDS are on when it stops. Are you able to open the lid etc. Does this happen with the short rinse cycle as well?

The F2 error usually means the rotor at the base of the dishwasher is either faulty or is unable to move due to food particles getting caught.

he might have unplugged something in the proccess of drying the bottom

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

To find out what might be blocking it, you can remove the drawer. There are two tabs one on each side of the drawer near the bottom front. Push those in and pull the drawer out. You can lift the drawer up and push the slides in to get them out of the way. Then you should be able to see into the cabinet and what if anything is stuck behind the drawer

F1-water on bottom of dishwasher. Uselly it cost by broken drain hose. Need expert tech to fix the problem.
