Maybe the issue is not printer related. Maybe Word 2010 needs some sort of update. Windows Update will update Windows OS and other Microsoft products (I have a Windows 7 PC running Office 97, Windows Update treats it like Office 2003 and STILL updates it!).
One of the best things windows seven has is the full backwards compatibility with windows XP and Vista, to enable compatibility you must set up the installer file compatibility settings to windows xp by right clicking on the installer file and in the menu clicking on properties, browse trough tabs and you'll find the compatibility tab, set the compatibility settings to Windows XP click on apply and then on ok, then double click on the installer as usual, say yes to windows prompt and install the software, once installed try to run it, if the software is not running, browse through your start menu and find the program, right click on the program's shortcut and open the folder where your program is, then right click on the program's file and repeat the compatibility procedure I gave you before...
If you still have doubts about how to accomplish this write me back and we'll find a way to make it work together...
Hello Cryspycritte,
Thank you for the clarification. Your program is definitely compatible with Windows XP. What you will need to do is put Disc 1 of Print Workshop into your CD drive. Click on your start button in the lower left hand corner of your desktop, then click run (located right above the "turn off computer" button.) A run box will appear in the bottom left hand corner. In the box type: D:\setup.exe (where D is the letter of your cdrom.) A setup window will appear with the final steps for installation. If you have any installation issues please post a reply. Thanks for using FixYa!

The manual for Master Clips Print Workshop is located on the CD. To access the manual, double click on My Computer then RIGHT click on your CD-ROM drive and choose Explore.
Double click on the Manuals folder. The manual file name is Mcpub.pdf. If you already have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system you should be able to simply double click on the file and it will launch the Reader and you will then be able to view or print the manual.
If you are not able to open the file you simply need to install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader by double clicking on the Setup.exe file located in the Manuals folder. After the Reader is installed, double click on the Mcpub.pdf file to view or print the manual.
