Question about Gateway 2520915 Keyboard
The membrane (a thin sheet of plastic with electrical circuit) is dirty with dust and grime. Turn off your PC and hold the keyboard upside side. Shake it sideways, up and down. You will be surprised with the dirt that will fall off. :)
It can make some of the keys functional. If it doesn't help, opening the keyboard and cleaning the membrane with q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol is not for the frail of heart.
Replacement keyboards are low cost nowadays usually under $10. You can even go to your local electronic/PC recycling shop and they'll gladly give one to you for a song. Goodluck!
