Have no sound on my gps

I have a tomtom version7.166 i have no sound can you help me solve this problem

Make sure you have not accidently turned off the sound. http://download.tomtom.com/open/manuals/device/gox20/gox20-en-GB.pdf See page 16. If every thing is turned on and still no sound, hard reset by pushing in the button with a paper clip on the base of the unit. (it is labeled "reset"). If not already, download TomTom Home- http://www.tomtom.com/services/ and connect unit to your pc with USB cable and update the unit. If no result contact customer services on the website above.

NO MAP FOUND
Sounds like you are trying to use cracked maps and haven't finished the process. Google tomtom forums there are a lot out there and you should be able to cure your problem.

Tomtom go 300
before you start take out sd card. 1 turn tomtom upside down. 2 see reset button? 3 use paper clip to press (press for 15secs) 4 now turn on tomtom (hold power button for approx 5secs. 5 re insert sd card. after a few minutes you should have signal. hope this solves your problem.

Tomtom sound
Please press the reset button on the device. This should solve you problem. If not you are going to have to reset the device back to origanl specs. This is done by going to the option while the device is turned on.
