Unplug washer, remove bottom front cover, (three phillips head screws at the bottom) unscrew filter and pull out (lower right). Next, remove the very smelly $2.67 in change and a nest of muck. Put every thing back together in reverse order

LOL!!! I had $2.71, a key, a pencil, 3 hair pins, a push pin, and a button!!!! Along with a wad of stinky, slimy hair and lint. Thanks, this helped a lot!!!! I love my front end loaders!!!

This must be a brand new Kenmore 20.6 cu. ft top freezer refrigerator. I have serviced over 10,000 refrigerators and freezers. Never once did i see one that had a washer, let alone one that spins but wont drain. Maybe you should try the washer forum.

G.e. washer wont **** out rhe water

I did all the tips to check the pump. Took washer a part and no luck. I was ready to haul it to the dump. As a last resort I put drain cleaner (dollar tree brand) in the tub and ran the washer on hot. After the cycle I lowered the hose inot a bucket and turned the washer on Drain. I heard a pop and the pump was free. Works like a champ now.
