Eureka as1100 roller brush not spinning. We have already replaced the main belt but there is a secondary belt that drives the roller brush and we can't figure out how to access this belt.

Sorry folks, but there's no Eureka with this model no. The model number can be found on a sticker, usually on the bottom of the unit. We'll need the correct model to access schematics of the body so I can tell you how to access the belts.

On our eureka world vac 9834 we cannot figure out how to remove the roller so we can put a new belt on

On this particular model the TOP cover is removed. There are 2 phillip screws near the roller and 2 tabs near the back wheels (push in with a flat screwdriver while pulling apart). Pull the hose through cover for easy cleaning. Everything I watched or read were for other models, where the bottom cover was removed :-(

How do I to change the belt on an eureka altima 12?

the belt is on the bottom right (looking at it from the front). the Eureka website does have the manual for download, http://www.eureka.com/service/manuals/80244.pdf

With the vacuum flattened (straightened) out, turn it over and remove the back roller cover, (2 screws) once off, the roller should just pop out on the opposite side (opposite from the belt). Don't forget to turn the roller to center the belt once you have it on.

Changing belt - Eureka Whirlwind 5740

I tried the website for manuals but no luck. I called the toll-free # 1-800-282-2886 and got a rep right away. I gave him the model and s/n (lower bottom on the back side) and he walked me thru it. For the model I have, there are 3 screws to remove - With the vacuum upright and standing facing it - there is on on the right and one on the left of the bottom cover and one on the left side near the hose intake. Remove those to get to the belt. I ordered the belt with him too - althought the belts were cheap ($2.99 for 2) the shipping was $8. If this didnt help - call the 800# - they were great.

Need to get access to the belt on my Eureka model 4475

Eureka Model #4475
need to get access to the belt on my Eureka model 4475

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
There may be 2 different ways to get to the belt, I checked the Eureka website and I believe you have to remove the bottom plate and the brushroll and belt are exposed and you would hook the belt on the brushroll 1st and then use a screwdriver with a bent hook and then you can pull the belt onto the pulley, once the belt is on the pulley then you can track the belt by rolling it on the brushroll & belt pulley --- the other way is that there are 2 screws on the bottom of the of the vacuum – remove the screws and then the top cover should lift off the vacuum to expose the belt – then follow the same procedure ads listed above. Check with you local vacuum dealer in your area in the yellow pages or use the Eureka website or customer service phone number listed below:

Belt broke

The belt number is 60957, There should be some screws that you remove from the bottom and the whole bottom nozzle will come apart, then you can change the belt.
