Spin cycle noise problems

Hello,
I purchased a kenmore oasis model 27042 in March of 07 and here lately when it goes into the spin cycle not matter what wash cycle I have on it makes a really loud almost like banging noise, almost like a weight has come off the drum and I am not getting any error codes letting me know it is off balance,even when the washer is full or not. So what can I do to fix the problem?

    The other day while the washer was on the max spin cycle, the machine made a loud banging noise that didn't stop until the machine stopped spinning (washer drum hitting against the inside of the cabinet).

    I opened the cabinet and there are two springs attached to the top of the drum to the sides of the cabinet, and a shock absorber type suspension rod attached to the bottom of each side of the drum. There is a lot of play when you push on the drum, and it's easy to see why it's hitting the cabinet. However having said that I would have expected to see a broken spring or shock, and I don't. Therefore I don't know which item is causing the problem.

    I have the same problem, i.e., loud banging noise when the machine goes into the spin cycle. It also has another problem. Water overflows onto the floor on occasion and it comes from the machine not the drain. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH THIS MACHINE. TOP LOAD OASIS 27032.

It is likely that you have an unbalanced load. Try spinning the machine with only water in it. If there are no noises now, you will need to re-distribute the load. We clothes are heavy!!

as for the washer there maybe a broken spring or where the spring attaches that balances the drum. look for this firest. for the dryer is it spinning around at the right speed if it is then the belt is ok. is it hot inside the dryer after running it when you open the door. if ti is check the dryer vent hose and exterior door at end of hose to see it they are plugged up . if the hose is plugged up the heat and moisture can't excape and the clothes will take a long time to dry.

Kenmore 27042 Elite Oasis. When it goes to spin mode you will get a code LD. Open the lid and move the tub up and a few times then restart the spin cycle and then it will work.
Seems that the load on the motor during the spin causes more strain and so it cut off with a error code. Now when you move it will get free and so causes the spindle to free.
Now after wash check the spindle ,the bearings the motor drive, use some lubrication, use some spray to degrease( WD40) if this is seen to be tight.
If not reassmeble this section to clear the fault.

My kenmore elite oasis washer model # 110.2703 shows code F-50
The F50 error code indicates that the RPS (rotor position sensor) detects no motor rotation. Check to see if the basket spins freely. If not, you could have an item caught between the outer tub and the inner spin basket. A toy or other item underneath the washer could also prevent the basket from spinning and would result in this F50 code.

If the basket spins freely, you could have a wiring failure that would prevent the motor from spinning.

Kenmore Elite Oasis Wash Machine Error Code F54
The F54 fault code indicates that the control board senses high motor current.
This can be caused by excessive friction in the spin basket.
With the washer off, open the lid and see if the basket spins freely.
If not, you may need to remove the basket and check for an item stuck between the spin basket and the outer washer tub.
The second and third images show procedures for removing the basket on the Oasis washer depending on whether you have an impeller or agitator in your model.
If the basket spins okay, then you can follow the technical troubleshooting described in the first image.
This may help you determine the cause of your washer problem.

with the machine empty see if you can lift up only the tub and see if it drops down.check to make sure there is nothing between the tub and outer tub have you gotten an f-51 error?

I had the same problem with F1 and F68. I just bought a $345 new computer for my washer. These machines are defective. Mine was purchased in Nov. of 2006 but not even out of the box until Jan. 2007!!!
