TV screen has gone black

I have a 43" rear projection Hitachi. Screen went black while watching it this morning. Power is still on. You can still hear a clicking sound in the back of the tv?

This can be caused by a number of issues. Below will list faults and cures possibly related to your problem.

Symptom: NO AUDIO NO VIDEO
Cause: 2H VIDEO PWB
Symptom: SHUTDOWN
Cause: IK04,IK05,I601,C614
Symptom: DEAD
Cause: Q655,EP98,D756

Well i was in the middle of watching tv when the screen just went black so i thought it was a blackout so when i turned it back on the red power light started blinking on and off... so whats the prob and...

Hitachi 43FDX20B, watching tv, screen went blank, no picture, no sound turn off then back on power light on but the same nothing

The TV computer may have detected an error. See if the problem persist after unplugging the device overnight to reset it. If it does not, the issue may be with the board or its power supply circuit. Probably loose soldering or leaking capacitors.

Toshiba projection tv

Sounds like it blew an "Internal Fuse"
if you want to fix it..simply open rear of TV and look for the fuse.
